4-Line Jacks or Better™ you get four times the fun of playing the original Jacks or Better as you are playing four lines of cards at once.

About 4-Line Jacks or Better™

If you're not familiar with the game, the object of 4-Line Jacks or Better is to get a five-card poker hand that contains a winning combination. You are dealt a hand of five cards and you can choose to replace every card once during the round. If, on the other hand, you have a great card come up when the cards are dealt, you can choose to hold it while other cards in your hand are replaced.

To play is really simple, but if you want to have a few practice rounds to get familiar with the game, all you need to do is click on Practice when you first open up the game. You're given a virtual stake of £2,000 in your balance and you can experiment with different sized bets without taking any real risks! Whenever you're ready, you can use the Play for Real Money at the bottom of the screen to switch to playing with real cash.

The different winning combinations are displayed on the paytable at the top of the screen. The lowest winning combination on 4-Line Jacks or Better is a pair of Jacks or higher. The better your hand, the bigger the payout will be.

There's a 20p minimum bet and £100 maximum bet per round as the minimum coin value is 5p and there are four lines to play. You can decide how many coins to bet per line, between one and five, but remember the line bet will be multiplied by four. You can always verify the bet size by looking at the bottom right corner of the screen.

When you've chosen the coin value you wish to wager, and the number of coins you're betting per line, click on Deal. This deals you five cards face-up, and you need to decide if you wish to hold or replace any of them. To hold a card, simply click on it or click on Hold underneath the card. The cards you hold will be held across the four lines. Then click on Deal to replace the other cards.

You'll see if you have a win immediately as any wins are highlighted on the right hand side of the lines. If you have a win, you'll see a new window which gives you three options - to collect your win and add it to your balance, to attempt to double it or to double half - and the potential wins these options could lead you to.

Doubling up is a simple round to play. The dealer has one card face-up and you have four cards face-down. All you need to do is pick one of the cards and hope that it has a higher value than the dealer's. If it does, you double your original win (or half your original win if you are playing Double Half), if it's the same value, you get to choose to play double up again or to collect your original win, and if it's lower, you lose your original win.

4-Lines Jacks or Better is a great video poker game to play whether it's just for fun or for real cash. And if you're playing for real cash, the prize values can mount up really quickly with the double up rounds, but of course, you won't win on every round!
